Is this right for you?
A quick personal message Dr. Dereck Steffe, a leading knee specialist in Evergreen, Colorado:
THIS is for the person who thinks that their knee pain is something they have to live with, or for those whose knee pain came on all of sudden and you want quick help and relief.
THIS is for the person asking, "what to do for swollen knees?" or "what to do for a torn meniscus."
The clicking when you bend your knee, the jabbing shooting pains that literally brings you to your knees or that constant ache that either keeps you from doing things or the pain you know you will suffer from IF you do anything more than stand and walk short distances DOES NOT have to be a way of life!
As a knee specialist over the last 15+ years, I’ve been working and helping people aged 35+ find relief from acute AND chronic knee pain – and what I know is the vicious cycle of rest and injections, and medications will do absolutely nothing to get to the root cause of most types of knee pains… no matter what you have been told.
I have grown increasingly frustrated with the number of people suffering needlessly, so I’ve written and published a 6 page report that details the 6 simple things most people can do to relieve knee aches or pains, naturally…… and I want you to have it at no charge.
Now, I don’t know if these 6 things will relieve you of your knee pain completely. And, I can’t promise that what has worked for most of my patients and clients over the last 15+ years will also work for you. However, reading this report has to be better than spending another day “resting”, accepting it, masking it with injections and medication or just thinking, “it’s my age”.
If your knee pain is affecting your job, your ability to keep active, threatens your independence or hinders family leisure time… then you really need to read this free report.
If you have pain behind your knee, severe knee pain, sore and stiff knees, random knee aches, swollen knees, this report is for you.
I want you to imagine how life would be in five years from now if you DON’T get a grip on your knee pain NOW. How will your knee pain affect your job? Your self-worth and your independence? Will you be a fun person to be with? Or, even live with? Ok, you get my drift…

Five Mistakes Patients With Knee Pain Make
Avoid these mistakes.........find the right solution for YOUR knee pain?
Doing Nothing & Accepting A Diagnosis For Thier Knee Pain.
Have you had an X-Ray/MRI or been given an orthopedic diagnosis - Arthritis? Degenerative changes? Torn meniscus? Tendinitis? Have you ever been told "There's nothing you can do about it" - "It's just a normal part of aging" or "You'll just have to live with it"? Although these are common diagnoses or things you may have been told, did you know there is still a way to get better? A way to improve or even eliminate your Knee Pain. The problem is that most patients have had improper or incomplete treatment. This leads to more and more frustration and they start to believe they are out of options. Please don't give up...I've seen this many times and I'm here to tell you there is ALMOST ALWAYS something that can be done!
Getting Advice on Google, WebMD or Youtube
These days we can find A LOT of information online. Some of that information is great, but some of it is incorrect or just flat out wrong. The danger is that each individual's injury, symptoms and health status is unique to them. What may seem like good advice and may be helpful for some, can actually make things worse for others. So, it's important to get proper advice, from a knee specialist, that is specific to YOU and your specific problem.
Resting Too Long
Resting immediately after an injury happens definitely has its benefits, but if you rest for too long your knee can get very stiff, start to develop scar tissue, and your muscles become very weak. This makes your Knee Pain worse and leads to more problems...and not just with your knee. This is why its important to get proper treatment sooner rather than later.
Relying On Pain Medicaton
Taking pain medications can have immediate effects and be very helpful to work through an ACUTE injury, but you shouldn't have to rely on them for very long. Unfortunately, many patients have relied on pain pills for years "just to get through the day" or "keep up with their normal activities". If this is the case, you're really just masking the pain... and this is NOT a real solution for Knee Pain!
Relying On A Knee Brace
When you have Knee Pain wearing a knee brace can feel good. You're likely to feel more supported, have less pain and have more confidence to do the things you need or want to do. This is yet another way to simply mask the pain. Wearing a brace also means the muscles around the knee don't have to work as hard, which leads to more weakness, instability and increased pain when not wearing the brace. What you really need is to figure out the underlying cause of your Knee Pain and address THAT!

Look At What Others Are Saying About Return To Sport Physio.....
Dereck is by far the best PT professional that I have ever worked with. He is knowledgeable, caring, and is a consummate professional in his field. He has helped me immeasurably with my back issues, and was able to get me back on my feet and into a regimen of exercises that have been very effective in helping me avoid re-injury, despite a very rigorous exercise routine."
"Dereck is a real pro. He did a great job helping my son recover from knee surgery, and me getting rid of lower back pain. He put us both on the road to recovery quickly. Dereck knows exactly what he needs to do, and how to do it. He works the muscles affecting the injured area, and provides the right exercises to keep you strong and healthy when you’re done with PT. He’s generous with his deep knowledge of health and the healing process. And he’s a great guy."
"I worked with Dereck for over two years. I had a severe orthopedic issue and went from taking small painful steps to running a half marathon & participating triathlons. Derek's treatments, strength & movement exercises made all the difference. His deep knowledge of physiology allowed me to trust that I could run again. Derek encouraged me to get past my fear to get back to running. I am incredibly thankful that he did"
